Welcome to the home page of the Miles Merwin Association. The purpose of this site is to provide information about our family to interested people with access to the World Wide Web.

The original "purpose" of the association

"The purposes of the Association were to provide a continuing contact among the various branches of the family by means of reunions, publications, etc.; to collect and disseminate the historical records of members of the family; to preserve the gravestone of the immigrant ancestor in the Milford cemetery; to work foward the establishment of a foundation for the perpetuation of the Association and for other purposes; and to work toward the eventual establishment of an appropriate site and structure for the accomplishment of these purposes."

We are also a genealogical organization which requests the accurate submission of family changes such as births, marriages, accomplishments, and deaths.

Annual Meetings

There will not be any meetings in 2014.

We have an annual meeting which is often in Milford, Connecticut, USA, where our common ancestor, Miles Merwin (1623-1697), lived and was buried. You may learn more about our next meeting in the "News and Events" page.

On the "Services" page, a visitor may buy publications or join the Miles Merwin Association.

The organization publishes Milestones, a family oriented news letter. We request interesting information that might be shared with the rest of the family. You are encouraged to send articles and pictures of interest to the new editor of Milestones, Lee Merwin milestones@merwin.org
